Completed in 1974, this 300-acre lake is rich in environmental and recreational
resources. Its clear waters a surrounded by 500 acres of beautiful woods and
open space.
The park is located in southern Carroll County - a short distance from Liberty
Road (Rt. 26) in Sykesville. It is approximately 25 miles west of Baltimore and
40 miles north of Washington DC.

April 1 through October 31
6am - Sunset
7 Days a Week
A user fee is collected at the entrance gate. Season passes are available for
your vehicle and boat.
All park facilities are on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception
of the pavilions which must be reserved.
